Rob is a lamp zealot. He believes he can make the world a better place through better lighting by designing and creating exclusive hand made lamps that are beautiful, timeless sculpture.   From his position at McKissick Museum as the Head of the Board of Directors and Director of Special Events to his job managing an Armani shop, he has been many things:   caterer, potter, writer, master-adhesivist, theater advocate, board member, master mind, pseudo socialite, faux-celebrity, designer, grassroots elitist, and frippery obsessed.   Rob majored in English and minored in ceramics at the University of Michigan for undergrad and at the University of South Carolina for graduate School.

As quoted in the Atlanta Peach Magazine, when asked where he grew up, he said, "I fell from the stars, I didn't grow up." Of designing and creating he says, "It's a way for me to get my hands dirty, to play with everything I like." The "satorially resplendent" Kennedy declares in the Atlanta Business Chronicle that his intention is to invent and produce designs that are "uber-elegant and glamorous."
